If you are familiar with the band The Blue Man Group, you would think that this band is an incarnation of it as they sounded alike.  It is indeed a surprise when you discover that the two are different bands.  It is only on the onset that you would think that the two are the same band. As you finished the whole album and listen to it all over again you will notice certain differences.

The most notable of which is that The Blue Rider sounds like Rolling Stone band during the sixties.  In fact, around half of the song will probably take you to a trip to a memory lane, if you happen to be more than 50 years old listening to this record.  But, if you are still in your twenties, you will probably think that The Blue Rider is just another college indie band.  Well, it might look that way but this album is not your typical college if you put it this way.

The production aspect of this record is very polished as if the band have been in the business for two decades.  The variety of melodies and styles that you will observe and listen will make you ask how will this band sound after five years. All of the songs in this album are worth your time.  There is one for you to headbang, to sway your hips, to make you act as if you are strumming a guitar too.

I rate this record 4.0 stars out of 5 stars because no song is a waste of time in this album.

Ratings Description:
