For those 80’s  and new wave fans whose musical experience was limited to what was played on the radio and dance clubs at that time, surely you miss a lot of records like ANOTHER VICTIM  from The Ultraviolets.  The whole album sounded like what should be an 80’s pop album at that time.  Clearly, it is a wonder why this record escaped the attention of many new wavers and those who are still into 80’s in this age of EDM music.

You will not be disappointed with this record as it has lots of bouncy tunes and tracks that sounds like any other new wave bands at that time.  For example, “It’s Over” has oriental musical background that is similar to “Hong Kong Garden,” “Never Quite Enough” sounds like a David Bowie track produced by Nile Rogers during the “Let’s Dance” era, and “One Too Many” felt like a Glass Tiger Track just to cite few examples.

The whole production aspect of this album was very polished thus, you would not think that this is just a record produced at a certain neighborhood’s backyard.  This album deserves a 3.5 star rating.
