If you like to listen to EDM music that is not so generic but rather feels like listening to old school electronica this the album that you should try to listen to.  If this is your first time to listen to this EDM artist you might find the intro song dictates the whole tempo of this record.  I beg you to use the forward button in your player and listen to some of the songs in this record and you will find some good songs in this record.

“Your On” is like R Kelly remix of “Step In The Name of Love.  “OK” is like an entry in Daft Punk Random Access Memory album.  “Pay No Mind” will remind you of Michael Jackson during his Off The Wall era.  In “Beings,” Madeon proved that one can dabble in techno/EDM/Electronica even though you just want to create relaxing music and danceable at the same time.  “Imperium” was released as commercial single and you can say that the song is like a video game soundtrack. Well, you must know that Madeon lays and combines different computer software to create music.  “Zephyr” sounds like any K Pop song.

The biggest problem in this album is that it has 18 songs as a result, towards the middle of the record you have this feeling that this album is tiresome already.  It would have been better if Madeon limited the songs to just 10 song so that listeners will not get tired of his music and will crave for more.  Just the same this is an engaging record thus I rate this record 3.5 stars out of 5 stars.

Ratings Description:

1 star = Ignore it

2 stars= risk it

3 stars = borrow or buy it

4 stars = buy it and keep it

5 = buy, keep, and treasure it
